MYA Students Run

OUR MISSION Students Run Philly Style transforms students’ lives through running and mentorship. We pair volunteer Running Leaders with teams of students to inspire them to push themselves further than they ever imagined. Their goal: the completion of a full or a half marathon. The courage and effort required, the unfailing support of a caring mentor and the thrill of its ultimate achievement results in a student who knows anything is possible.

Each year there is a Blue Season and a Green Season– the Blue Season is run through the spring and culminates with the Broad Street Run, a 10 mile street race that starts at Central High School and ends at the Philadelphia Navy Yard. The Green Season is run through the summer into the fall, and culminates with the Philadelphia half/full marathon.

Instrumental Music

We have a strong instrumental music program which includes a string ensemble, a wind ensemble, and a concert band.

Partnership with Penn

Our partnership with the University of PA enables us to provide on-site tutoring for our students.

University of Pennsylvania Talent Search
